Is there tribulation
beyond the narrow bend
Or passions that,
never cease to end?
Will the past fail the test
like some shunted beast
And scuttle down the narrow crevasse
death tired and wanting priest?
The past can not hold in gaze
and awe, as the crack in the tomb,
Robbed too many times each part,
each particle sifted with a spoon.
Is tribulation there
that finally comes to end
Or passions that cling and grasp,
never cease to end?
