Sounding True
It would seem that
random truth is just a little iffy
whether it seems or sounds
or just wiggles along
and slips soundlessly into the tall grass.
Empirical physics studies
particles that cannot be seen
but only inferred from the bow
in the tiny universe inside
a long tube designed to
simulate the fire storm of time.
Of course everything political,
and everything religious
is in its parts, pieces, and parcels
wrapped in a nice
patina of ultimate pulchritude;
and by definition, all very true and sound
well written in laws only natural.
Each endeavor human screams;
upon inspection or reflection
or just ones visionary deception
for a sounding true
where ones feet actually are,
let alone stand,
upon the rock on which we ride.
When the fire comes
it releases the jack pine seeds
clears the banks of the Two Hearted
releases the sand into the river
topples the tall pines into the stream
directs the flow into new currents
uncharted undiscovered unknown
and with Spring fills the woods with
renewed life of small living things.
